Market Update Electricity – Tight electricity markets are taking a breather

Electricity prices have fallen sharply in recent weeks. The mild winter, higher-than-average (EU) gas inventories, but also the return of French nuclear power plants contributed to this price drop. We also zoom in on the European consultation on electricity market reform in this update. Finally, we briefly mention some other relevant issues that (may) affect the electricity market.
