In the various Market Updates, we describe and interpret relevant developments in the natural resource markets such as oil, gas and coal. These markets, combined with the growing share of renewable energy, translate into developments and price formation on the electricity markets. We will also regularly include the developments and pricing of CO2 emission rights (EU ETS) in our publications. On top of this, this service will include market developments relevant to the energy transition. Of course, interim updates will be sent as soon as market conditions change significantly.
Publieke Zaken has traditionally followed national and European politics closely. We connect that value and knowledge with market updates, interpreting political decision-making that relates to and impacts energy markets and climate policy. This focuses not only on political decision-making at European level and in the Netherlands, but also in neighbouring countries – especially if these have direct implications for the Dutch market.
