Publieke Zaken is an advisory firm based in The Hague. We offer knowledge and insight into energy markets and developments related to energy and climate policy. We translate these developments into consequences for companies in relation to the energy transition. In addition, Publieke Zaken advises organizations in the sustainability, climate, energy, agriculture, circular economy and mobility sectors in the development and implementation of their public affairs strategy.
Who are we looking for?
- An HBO or WO student (bachelor/master) in the final stage of studies, or just graduated;
- You have an affinity for economics, energy, the energy transition and politics;
- You have an interest in issues and market developments in energy, sustainability, climate, circular economy and mobility (not necessarily knowledge or experience required);
- You are communicative, analytically strong and independent;
- Good written skills in both Dutch and English.

What will you do?
Interns rotate into the team 'PZ-ERS as soon as possible. Initially, you will mainly be involved in following and analyzing energy markets and reporting on these to our clients. There will also be time for you to contribute to our market updates and thematic reports and to assist with other work in the office. At the end of the internship, you will have a good idea of the work of an energy market analyst and you will have learned about one of the greatest social challenges of our time: energy transition.
