Publieke Zaken is an advisory firm based in The Hague. We offer knowledge and insight into energy markets and developments related to energy and climate policy. We translate these developments into consequences for companies in relation to their energy transition. In addition, Publieke Zaken advises organizations in the sustainability, climate, energy, agriculture, circular economy and mobility sectors in the development and implementation of their public affairs strategy.

Who are we looking for?

• An HBO or WO student in the final stage of their studies, or just graduated (e.g. Economics, Business Economics or another course with an economic orientation);
• You have an affinity for economics, energy, the energy transition and politics;
• You are interested in issues and market developments in the areas of energy, sustainability, climate, circular economy and mobility;
• You are communicative, analytically strong and independent;
• Good written skills in both Dutch and English.

What will you do?

Interns rotate into the "Energy Research & Strategy" team at Publieke Zaken as quickly as possible. Initially, you will mainly be involved in monitoring and analyzing energy markets. There will also be time to contribute to our market updates and thematic reports, as well as to other office activities. At the end of the internship, you will have a good idea of the work of an energy market analyst and you will have studied one of the greatest social challenges of our time: energy transition.

Publieke Zaken is a rapidly growing consulting firm. Should the partnership work out well, there is the possibility of staying on for longer employment.
