Until his retirement in 2019 he worked 15 years at Economic Affairs (industrial policy, innovation programs, foreign economic relations), 4 years at Foreign Affairs (as director Asia & Oceania, also plv DG), 7 years at Transport & Water Management (as DG Water and then as DG Aviation, Maritime Affairs and International) and finally again at EZ as DG Energy, Telecom & Competition. He concluded his career at the Ministry of the Interior as a top consultant at ABDTOPConsult.
