Gijs holds a bachelor's degree in Public Administration from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and a master's degree in Political Science, specializing in International Politics, from Leiden University. Previously, he managed social media channels for former minister Hugo de Jonge, among others, and worked at a geopolitical consulting firm.
