Job Vacancy HR Manager

We are looking for an HR manager 3 to 4 days a week who will make sure our procedures are in order and people get the attention they deserve!

We are ambitious and growing significantly. Our team now consists of 28 professionals, from starters to experienced consultants. We want to continue to grow not only as an organization, but also as people, as a team and as professionals. Therefore, we are now looking for an HR manager to complete our team and keep us sharp in the full breadth of HR.

 

Who are we?

We are Publieke Zaken, a consulting firm based in The Hague. We advise organizations particularly in the sustainability, climate, energy, agriculture, circular economy and mobility sectors in the development and implementation of their public affairs strategy. Analyzing Dutch and EU laws and regulations is an essential part of this.


What will you do?

Because it is a new position for us, you will largely determine this yourself. As a member of the MT, you will help shape the design of the organization and have an important role in the development of our colleagues. We are looking for someone who handles both HR design and implementation.

We are thinking of the following work

  • You are a sparring partner for management
  • You will ensure the ongoing development of our performance conversations and monitor the process
  • You coordinate our own Academy
  • You take care of recruitment from A to Z
  • You are in charge of contracts, personnel files and payroll changes
  • You take care of the absence policy, including advising the manager and process monitoring
  • You ensure that everyone has a good experience regarding on- and offboarding, i.c.w. the office manager
  • Of course, you will also be a questioning and listening ear for any challenges employees encounter

 

Who are you?

  • You have a WO/HBO working and thinking level with relevant HR training
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant HR experience
  • For questions about HR laws and regulations, we can turn to you
  • You dare to accept the challenge of committing to us for the long term
  • You have a hands on mentality and work in a structured manner
  • You speak Dutch and preferably live in the Hague area
